Tesco of Kensington, on the way to Earl's Court tube, is open around the clock from Monday 8am to Saturday 10pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm. They have as good a selection of ingredients as you'll find anywhere in London.
Dairy Crest deliver milk fresh from Chiswick Dairy to our doorstep by 7:30am Monday-Saturday. They'll also deliver orange juice, yogurt and other items - just phone 8994 4491 and give Chris our milkman a regular day-by-day order.
The best convenience store is the Russell Gardens/Holland Road corner-shop.
For organic ingredients, The Fresh Food Company at 326 Portobello Road, Notting Hill is the place to shop.
For the best fresh produce you have to get up early and go to Smithfields (Circle line to Farringdon) for meat or Billingsgate (District line and DLR to Poplar) for fish at 5-6am.

Tesco Brook Green store's selection is not as wide as their Kensington store but they do have Tesco Value brands which are much cheaper. Shop near closing time (after 8pm) and check the reduced counter for half-price stock best eaten that evening.
