Flying from Heathrow or Gatwick is the quickest way
around Europe.
Leave home 2½ hours before your flight take-off time:
- Take the tube from Kensington Olympia platform 1
to Earl's Court and go downstairs for
the Piccadilly line west to
Heathrow Airport.
Fare = £2.50
(compared to £35 for a black cab or £20 for a
mini-cab).
- Take a yellow connex south central train from
Kensington Olympia platform 3 to
Gatwick Airport.
Fare = £8 (compared to £70 for a black cab or £35 for a
mini-cab).

Southern trains run
every 15 minutes from Kensington Olympia platform 3 south to
Clapham Junction for
South West Trains connections
and to Gatwick for connections to the south coast. Red
Virgin trains continue directly to Brighton.

Southern trains run north to Watford
for connections to Birmingham and the midlands. Red
Virgin trains continue directly to
Birmingham.
Otherwise, leave home one hour before the train's departure time to
take the tube to any of the main-line stations:

Oxford on the
Oxford Tube coach from outside the Kensington Hilton.
It runs 24 hours, as frequently as a bus and is only £10 return.
